Chaat Shaat

It may look like your average neighbourhood eating house, but Chaat Shaat is anything but! It is located right in the heart of Islamabad, Jinnah Super، F 7 Markaz next to What ‘a Paratha. One Friday my friend and I decided to visit this place and we were immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of desi delicacies. 

Chaat Shaat is a modern-day chaat stand, where you can try Gol Gappas, Fries, Roll parathas in a modern setting. It's comfortable and a little bit more up to date. They provide both inside sitting as well as outside. Their indoor sitting area is very amazing with beautiful paintings hung on the walls, chalk white furniture and some floral decorations. Along with all these things, the light background music makes the atmosphere more welcoming. The scintillating fairy lights make your meal more enjoyable in the evening. 

The background music playing throughout our whole meal won my heart which makes me want to come back here again and again. Now to the food part they provide everything from samosa chaat to Cinnamon and Cardamom Tea as well as pani puri and ice-cream. We ordered their famous paperi chaat. After giving the order, within 10 to 15 minutes the chaat was on our table. I liked the way it was served and yes, the taste was marvellous. Overall my experience was great and I would definitely recommend this place.
