Monal Tree House

It is a three story structure made out of wood, exceptionally beautiful we can say. Monal Tree House is built along a simple rustic theme and this fine dining restaurant offers French, Italian and Mediterranean cuisines allowing you to enjoy most serene views of the Capital of Pakistan. The Tree House offers you to choose between three seating options, the indoor dining area surrounded by glass walls allowing you to enjoy the beauty of Islamabad in the day and its sparkling lights in night. 

Then comes semi covered wooden floor terrace and lastly the open air seating area for those who like the open skies or dinner in a moonlit night. Indoor dining hall is equipped with luxurious banana leaf furniture whereas outdoor is furnished with burnt wood furniture. Along with the view this restaurant lets you enjoy live music presented by their musicians. As appealing as it looks by the ambiance and services they provide their food is no less tasty. This fine dining restaurant allows you to savor your mouth with its soups, salads, Tree House snacks, pastas, thin crust pizzas, sea food, Thai food, chicken dishes, beef and lamb dishes, The Tree House bar, desserts, hot beverages, cold beverages and also breakfast of a kind which no other restaurant provides in the city.

I have tried both their breakfast and dinner. It has been quite a while since I have had breakfast there but that doesn’t stop me from remembering how delicious food it had. They allow you to choose from two cuisines, Continental and Pakistani. Continental breakfast had choice of fresh seasonal juice or lassi, two farm fresh eggs made as per your preferences and toasted bread (2 slices), butter and jam including a meaty slide line. With it you can have tea, coffee or green tea. 

Next comes the Pakistani breakfast, which I ordered, included choice of fresh seasonal juice (I had orange juice) or lassi, two farm fresh eggs as per your preference and I had them as an Omelette, lahori channy, poori (2 pieces and 1 piece Pakistani paratha), sooji halwa, poodinay wala aloo accompanying tea/coffee/green tea. It was a best deal, enough for a single person to eat and only for 765/-. Also their mint margarita is a must try.
